It all depends on the number of seats not the number of doors.

When it comes to getting a convertible car seat that fits well in a small car like the honda civic parents have a difficult time making an informed decision.
If that isn t possible place it on one side of the back seat and then get baby in out from the other side.
If the front seat fold forward for access to a back seat then its ok.
Carseats are made for the backseat.
You would still put the car seat in the back seat.
I can t say from experience but i heard that the stationary seats are not too bad in a 2 door because you just have to put the baby in and out and the seats slide pretty well to get the baby in and out.

The biggest issue you ll have when you change over is to have a rear facing car seat in a two door car.
But the baby seats that have to be taken in and out can be sort of tedious trying to get them in there and back out again.
It was silly to watch but it worked for them.
You can put a car seat in a 2 door car.
If your car is a 2 seater.
